So my teacher told us that two blue eyed people can’t have a brown eyed kid and this kid in my class said “but both my parents have blue eyes and I have brown eyes”.  The teacher said “so you’re adopted”.  THe next day the kid came in and told us that he confronted his parents about it and that they said he was adopted but wanted to wait for the right time to tell him.  

i also discussed this genetic fact at the dinner table at my friend’s house.
my friend’s dad proceeded to say “both my parents have blue eyes”
and I look at him and say “ok. you have blue eyes too.”
then he’s like “but my brother doesnt”
and I kinda just uhhmmmmm ..well…

his mom and dad then went on to have a conversation about “how his brother always was the odd one out” and how he looks different and is much taller etc etc but “oh well they’re divorced now anyway who cares right”

all right just revealing marital inconsistencies nbd.
